‘Young Female, Traveling Alone’ is a short and insightful story, somewhat based on my travels in Asia for seven months in 2003. I enjoyed writing the book and I still enjoy reading it today as it brings me back to those times of living like a bum, in total freedom, with a small backpack and roaming around from place to place. The book describes the places I have been to in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and India. As I spent four months of my journey in India, the book tends to revolve around India. I wrote this book to inspire others to venture themselves alone to far-away places. Traveling is an amazing experience that opened up my heart to the entire world.
To my dismay, in May 2010, I found out how similar the book “Eat, pray, love” is to my self-published book and filed lawsuit: Court House News
